Five Star Race Car Bodies and SafetyFXOnline.com Offer Rewards For Teams
NAPLES, ME (April 12, 2007) – A pair of companies with products that all racers use are the latest contingency sponsors that have signed on with the Pro All Stars Series.
Five Star Race Car Bodies and SafetyFXOnline.com have both inked deals with the sanctioning body to become involved with a variety of tours that race from Georgia to Eastern Canada.
Five Star, which will be the official body of PASS, will support that PASS North and PASS South Super Late Model tour competitors with a major award at the season-ending banquet.
“They are a first-class operation, so for Five Star to come on as the exclusive body supplier for the Pro All Stars Series means a lot,” said PASS Marketing Director Steve Perry. “We’re working with Corey Schultz and their marketing department. He’s really excited and they understand where PASS is at right now, both in the North and in the South. I think that helped in putting this deal together.”
Five Star Race Car Bodies designs and manufactures the highest quality body components, poly-carbonate windshields, and body installation tools for most forms of motorsports. Five Star has been the driving force in the very popular ABC body program (Approved Body Configuration) that is changing the face of Asphalt Short Track racing in America today.
SafetyFXOnline is a Maine-based retailer of safety equipment for the racing industry. They offer everything from helmets and firesuits to HANS devices, as well as the knowledge and advice to properly use those items.
Joining forces with PASS is a natural fit for the company.
“We were looking for a real solid regional traveling series to become involved with,” said SafetyFXOnline’s Erik Burbank. “The way that racing is going, safety is a hot item right now. We want to be at the forefront of bringing safety items to the grassroots racers. We’ve been doing a fair amount of that. People will bring their racecars by our shop and we’ll help with belt fitment and things like that. We don’t just provide the safety gear that they need, but all to be a clear housing for safety information.”
SafetyFXOnline.com will award weekly gift certificates to competitors in all PASS divisions, as well as an annual award at the end of the season.
