Young Maine Driver Wins Third Race at Track in Last Four Events Held There

NAPLES, ME (May 6, 2007) – Cassius Clark put on a masterful performance on Sunday afternoon in the Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model event at Speedway 95 near Bangor, Maine. The 25-year-old Farmington, Maine driver started fifth in the 150-lap race, but wasted little time getting to the front. Before the race was 50 laps old, Cassius Clark was pulling away from second-place runner Johnny Clark and at one point even threatened to lap the field.

Several late-race cautions bunched the field, but even a green-white-checkered finish couldn’t derail Cassius Clark’s winning drive. He held off Johnny Clark to unofficially win at Speedway 95 for the third time in the last four PASS North events held there.

Finishing behind the Clarks were Ben Rowe, Travis Benjamin and Richie Dearborn.

In the 40-lap PASS Modified feature, Gary Norris held off Troy Morse and Jeremy McCormick for the victory.

The PASS North Super Late Models will return to action on Saturday, May 19th at New Brunswick International Speedway.
