Youngster Beats Peltier for Third-Straight PASS South SLM Win

CONCORD, NC (August 5, 2007) – Corey Williams continued his dominate streak in PASS South Super Late Model competition of late.  Williams took the lead late from Preston Peltier and went on to win the Saturday of Speedway 150-lap event at Lanier National Speedway on Braselton, GA on Saturday night.

Williams, who won the last two PASS South events at Peachstate Speedway and Orange County Speedway, won the Dash to start on the pole.  Williams saved his car until the very end, making a run at Peltier in the last 30-laps of the event.  The two raced side-by-side until Williams eventually got the upper hand and pulled away to the victory.

Peltier was followed across the line by Joey Senter in third.  Jason Hogan, who won the Saturday of Speed last season, finished fourth.  Heath Hindman, who was the night’s fastest qualifier, finished fifth.

The PASS South series will return to action on September 29th at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, NC.
