Robitaille, Webster take Enduro Twins;
Berry, Kimball also claim Mayhem wins

OXFORD, Maine – Experience paid dividends in Sunday afternoon's Motor Mayhem at Oxford Plains Speedway, where Acceleration Series veterans Randy Robitaille and Charlie Webster walked away with 50-lap Twin Enduro triumphs,
Robitaille cashed the first-place check of $500 in the full-size segment, while Webster won his second straight big payday in the four-cylinder version.

Bruce Berry was a repeat winner in Spectator Drags over his longtime rival in that event, Lyman McKeage, and Richard Kimball outlasted a large field of 14 in the Smoky Donut Show.
Zach Robitaille was first to cross the finish line in an exhibition event, the Turbo Tire Push.
In the full-size main event, Jeff Moffett of Rhode Island led the first 25 laps before pitting with a flat tire. That vaulted Billy Childs Jr. to the point. Childs, who has raced at OPS for more than a decade, was participating in his last race at Oxford for the foreseeable future before moving to Missouri.
Randy Robitaille snuck past Childs on lap 27, however, and Childs' best chance to win the race was erased when Zach Robitaille (Randy's son) went for the block and ultimately spun the runner-up in the late stages.
"We came in with a plan," Randy Robitaille admitted. "If one of us got the lead, we wanted to do whatever we could to stay there."
Childs rallied to second in front of Gerald Parlin. John Spencer Jr. and Joe Strout rounded out the five paying positions.
Webster spun out of the lead after tangling with the lapped car of T.J. Devlin on lap 13 of the compact car clash. He only dropped to fourth on the leader board, however, and reeled in Josh Childs to reclaim the advantage on lap 21.
Josh Childs was never challenged for second, with former Chimney Tech Outlaw track champion Skip Douglass Jr. third ahead of Chris Foss and Mike St. Germain.

Berry had a profitable day, overcoming McKeage in the best-of-three Drags final in his infamous "Chevy Killer" before snagging second in the smoke show. Kimball sewed up the crowd's support when his left rear tire exploded during his 30-second encore.
The next Motor Mayhem event is scheduled for Sunday, August 26 at 1 p.m.
