Augusta, Maine – Turner, Maine's Ben Rowe is the 2007 PASS North Super Late Model Series champion. Ryan Lawler, of Mooresville, North Carolina, is the 2007 PASS South Super Late Model Series champion. The last time Rowe and Lawler faced one another was at the season ending "Meltdown" at Concord Motorsports Park in North Carolina in November. Ben won the 200-lap race and Ryan wrapped up the PASS South title with a twenty-third place finish.

The two PASS champions will face one another once again, this time on Rowe's home territory but not on any race track. Courtesy of New England Racing Fuel of Burlington, Connecticut, Rowe and Lawler will square off at the 20th Anniversary Northeast Motorsports Expo & Trade Show at the Augusta (Maine) Civic Center in January.

Rowe and Lawler will meet race fans and autograph specially designed "north versus south PASS Champions" hero cards. The two champions will sign autographs at the New England Racing Fuel booth on Friday, January 4th, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, January 5th, from noon – 2:00 P.M. and from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Driving for the Richard Moody & Sons Construction team, Ben Rowe captured his fourth PASS Series championship this past season. Even though he won only one north race, he had five second place finishes and one third place finish in fifteen PASS North events.

Twenty-year old Ryan Lawler won two of the eight PASS South Series races in 2007 and finished in the top ten in four others to win the series championship driving the Hamke Race Cars Ford team.

Scheduled for January 4 – 6th, the Northeast Motorsports Expo & Trade Show provides an early preview of the 2008 season for race fans and all motorsports enthusiasts.
