The New Year is upon us and race fans and racers from throughout New England are already looking forward to the first big motorsports event of 2008.

Northeast Motorsports Expo will celebrate its 20th anniversary on January 4-6 at the Augusta (ME) Civic Center, and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) will once again be well represented.
To commemorate this special event PASS has teamed up with New England Race Fuels and Sunoco to bring 2007 PASS South Super Late Model Champion Ryan Lawler to the 20th anniversary show. Lawler will join 2007 PASS North Super Late Model Champion Ben Rowe to sign a limited edition autograph card to celebrate their respective titles. Lawler and Rowe will appear at The New England Race Fuels booth on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. They will return for two more autograph sessions on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
“We’re really excited that we could arrange to have both of our 2007 PASS Super Late Model champions on hand for our first motorsports show of 2008.”, said PASS President Tom Mayberry. “It’s even more appropriate because we recently announced the four-race PASS National Super Late Model Championship Series, and I know that both Ryan and Ben will be among the favorites to win the first title. Our goal is to give PASS fans the opportunity to see the stars from both regional series go head to head in the northeast and in the south. The title chase will add even more excitement to these four great races.” The PASS National Super Late Model Championship schedule is available now at www.proallstarsseries.com .
Drivers from all five PASS touring divisions will be on hand at the PASS booth throughout the three day event. Rules and 2008 schedules for the PASS North and South Super Late Models, Outlaw, Mods and Sportsman will all be available. PASS officials will always be on hand to answer your questions regarding the upcoming season. Visit www.proallstarsseries.com for a complete autograph session schedule.
Race cars from all five PASS divisions will be featured on the show floor. In addition to the PASS booth, many of the speedways that will host PASS sanctioned events in 2008 will feature PASS racers in their displays.
Show hours are Friday January 4 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM, Saturday January 5 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and Sunday January 6 from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. For more information on the show, visit www.northeastmotorsports.net. For the latest PASS news, click on www.proallstarsseries.com.
