RPM. How does it feel to get your first PASS Outlaw win?

Mike. Feels great to get my first win, we have had a great car the last three years finally put it all together, and to beat a guy like Dale Shaw and Alan Wilson. speaks for itself.

RPM. How did you get started in racing?

Mike. My father mike sr raced for 30 years i grew up around racing. he would be proud today if he were still around.

RPM. What is your most memorable moment in your racing career?

Mike. Well obviously winning a PASS race would be it. I had several extra distances race wins in lower divisions but this one beats them all.

RPM. What's your favorite track to race at?

Mike. I should say Groveton, but really Unity is the place for me its tight but it has two grooves. Groveton and Canaan are also great places as well.

RPM. What are your thoughts on the recent changes at Unity Raceway?

Mike. I hope it works I like George and his family. I will go on Fridays to support them, but economic times are tough.

RPM. Do you see with drivers such as Scott Mulkern, and former Busch North drivers Dale Shaw, and Jimmy Renfrew racing in PASS Outlaw Series, as a testimonial to the growth of the series? –

Mike. I like having them guys there with us, sadly I dont think this series is growing, with the tricked up bodies it makes it hard for prostock teams to run and be competitive.

RPM. If you could change one thing to improve the racing in PASS Series what would it be?

Mike. I would find some sort of medium between the SLM and the Outlaw teams. maybe have the outlaw rule package minus the body. It is hard to compete with the top teams in the SLM series but you can bring them closer to the rest with the right rules package.

RPM. How do you feel the increase in fuel prices has effect the racing community?

Mike. Fuel prices are killing American people and busineses, not just in the racing community. but people have to weigh their options as to having a night out at the track or being able to afford gas to get to work the next week. if something doesn't give pretty soon we are all in trouble.
