Naples ME – (May 20, 2008) The fastest full fendered racers in the east make their first 2008 visit to North Woodstock New Hampshire’s’ White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday May 24th, and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) 150 is guaranteed to be a barnburner.

Nestled next to the Pemigewasset River at the base of Franconia Notch, the Avery family’s high banked quarter mile is a fan favorite on the schedule and has played host to some of the closest finishes in series history.

If you look back through the PASS archives, it’s unusual to find a victory lane photo without a Rowe in the top three. Both Mike and Ben Rowe have seen their share of success at White Mountain, but there’s a whole pack of challengers that plan on knocking them off the podium this weekend.

PASS Rookie D.J. Shaw has more laps around White Mountain than any other speedway where the series competes. He’s earned a late model division championship there and he has to be considered a threat to take down his first win. Adam Bates and Travis Benjamin could easily break through to victory lane; Richie Dearborn, Cassius Clark, and Scott Chubbuck have all claimed the winners’ trophy in recent seasons.

Johnny Clark is coming of a dominating win at Wiscasset Raceway in the Ray Haskell Ford 125, so momentum is definitely on his side. Kelly Moore has plenty of laps around the high banks in a Busch North race car. Derek Ramstrom will be looking to get his season in high gear after a tough run at Wiscasset. Same goes for Steve Knowlton and Donnie Whitten, who is always quick on the White Mountain high banks. Trevor Sanborn has run up front there as well, and he’ll be  behind the wheel of one of the potent RMR machines as a teammate to Ben Rowe.

White Mountain’s own weekly racing divisions – Late Models, Strictly Stocks, Super Streets, Strictly Minis and Kids’ Trucks – will complete the card with enough racing to satisfy the most diehard race fan. The racing gets underway Saturday May 24th at 5:00 PM.
