Maine's "Center Of Speed", Wiscasset Raceway will celebrate the Independence Day holiday weekend with a special Fan Appreciation Night Saturday July 5th. The race program starts at 5:00pm and will feature action in all six weekly racing series divisions, including the return of the Clark's Car Crushing Prostocks. Shortly after sunset the racing action will be put on hold and the sky will be lit up with a huge fireworks display to mark the holiday.
As an added bonus, before the show fans will be invited down onto the track for a meet and greet autograph session with all of Wiscasset's weekly competitors. People will be able to get prizes and autographs from their favorite drivers and check out the race cars up close. There will also be several kids bikes given away to lucky youngsters.
