Scarborough,Maine-Jason Larrabee was the Sport Series feature race
winner on Saturday night at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. With the Pro
All Stars Tour in town for the Firecracker 150 the NASCAR Sport Series
became the headline division for the night.

Patrick Thorne led the opening laps before Bradley Babb took over on
the 10 circuit. Babb would stay at the head of the field until the
caution flag waved on lap 27. On the restart Larrabee went to the
front and remained there for the final 8 laps to take the victory.
Babb finished second with Frank Wear third. Russ Morse and Sally
Gherardi were fourth and fifth at the finish.

Gary Babineau made easy work of the Wildcat 30 lap feature race for
his second win of the season. Lewis Anderson set the pace to lap 4
when Babineau took over following a caution period. Once in front
Babineau was unchallenged as he easily sailed under the checkered flag
for the win.

Anderson got his best finish of the season with a second place over
David Wildes who was third. Glenn Bradbury and Lyman McKeage rounded
out the top 5 finishers of the race.

Shawn Brackett was in the right place at the right time in winning the
Road Runner feature race. Brackett was running in 4th position when
leaders David Turner and Ed Pierce decided they could not give each
other any more room as they had battled for the lead for many laps.

Pierce and Turner tangled and took third place runner David Palmer
with them handing the lead to Brackett. All cars got moving and the
race stayed green with Brackett taking the win over Ed Connolly and
Pierce who recovered quickly from the spin to finish third. Mark Hill
and Dave Cameron were fourth and fifth place finishers.
