CHARLOTTE, NC (July 15) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President Tom Mayberry has announced two changes for the remainder of the 2008 schedule for the PASS South Super Late Models.  The 3rd Annual South Carolina Clash at Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, SC, originally scheduled for April, has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 2nd.   The South Carolina Clash will replace the previously scheduled race for that same date that was to be held at Lanier National Speedway.

“The decision to cancel the race at Lanier was a mutual decision with the management and staff of Lanier National Speedway,” said Mayberry.  “We have enjoyed our association with Lanier over the years and we look forward to bringing PASS back in 2009.”

The 3rd Annual South Carolina Clash was slated to be the season opener at Dillon Motor Speedway, but was postponed due to a torrential rain storm.  Joining PASS South in their first trip to Dillon will be the SuperTrucks, Street Stocks, and Chargers.

“We are really glad to have this race at Dillon back on the schedule,” said Mayberry.  “Ron Barfield and his staff have done a great job in making this one of the premier facilities in the South and we can’t wait to introduce their great race fans to PASS and the double-file restarts.
