Lee, NH.  (August 18, 2008)  With seven rained out programs on the books, Lee USA Speedway management is stuck in a make-up mode and has scheduled (or re-scheduled) a big 11 feature race card for this Friday night at the Route 125 oval. The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series program features the final events for the Watts Triple Crown Series and the R F-Logic, Bot-L-Gas Triple Crown Series for Pro-Four Modifieds.

Track manager Bob Watson advises, “We are going to get everything made up as we go along. Like everyone else, we have been dealing with this stuff since the start of the season. We’ll format our programs accordingly. Double and even triple features where needed. It’s crazy, but we have to do it.” With August half over, Watson has concerns for September being a soggy month and really putting a crimp in the tracks plans. “We have a required amount of programs to complete to honor our agreement with the sanctioning body (NASCAR) and with only two Fridays left in August, we need to do it now.” He concluded, “In all my years running race tracks in Florida, and we know what Florida weather can be like, I have never seen anything like this summer, anywhere”

Friday’s program, bumped up to a 7 PM start, will feature twin 20 lap Pro-4 modified features, three 25 lap Late Model features, a 40 lap and 25 lap small Block Super Modified feature, as well as feature races in the Hobby Stock, Late Model Sportsman, Roadrunner, and Ironman divisions.

Admission prices for the unusual race program are $10 for adults
