Naples ME – (August 6 2008) Entry blanks are available now for the Mason Dixon 500 at South Boston (VA) Speedway, the biggest season point finale yet for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South super late models .The 2008 PASS South Champion will be crowned in style at the conclusion of 250 green flag laps for the fastest cars and short track superstars in the country. There’s a ten thousand dollar check on the line for the winner of the two day racing extravaganza set for Friday and Saturday October 24th and 25th.
But that’s only half the story, because there are 250 laps on tap for late model stock cars, and another ten grand goes to the winner of that one. That’s 500 laps of full fendered feature racing on Saturday October 25th, with practice and qualifying for both divisions on Friday October 24th.
Entry blanks for the PASS super late model portion of the event were mailed to licensed PASS SLM competitors on August 1st. Entry blanks for non-licensed competitors that have requested them were in the mail on Monday August 4th. It’s important to get those entries filed timely, because only the first forty entries received in the PASS offices are guaranteed infield pitting for the duration of the two day event.
