Naples ME ( September 14 2008) Pro All Stars Series (PASS)  North rookie DJ Shaw challenged  PASS North newcomer Travis Kittleson  for 80 laps before making his move by Kittleson for the lead  on lap 120 of Saturday nights’ DJ Equipment 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park. Shaw then held off Johnny Clark and Ben Rowe on a key lap 134 restart to secure his second PASS North win of the season in Julio and Rita Miglioli's Precision JLM Ford. Clark, Rowe, Kittleson and Cassius Clark chased Shaw to the line in a race that was short on cautions and long on the kind of hard core short track racing that only super late models can produce.

Kittleson and Trevor Sanborn led the twenty five car field to the green, and Sanborn prevailed only to give up the lead to Kittleson’s Cushman Competition Ford on a lap twenty restart.  Cassius Clark came up to run second a few laps later, but it was Shaw who was slicing his way through the field. By lap 50 he was up to second from thirteenth on the grid and looking for a way by Kittleson.

With only four cautions to interrupt  the action, lapped traffic was always a factor as the pair clicked off twelve second laps. Shaw dogged Kittleson lap after lap in one of the best short track battles of the 2008 PASS season. Late in the race the torrid pace seemed to take its toll on Kittlesons ride, allowing Shaw to take away the lead with thirty to go. Johnny Clark and Ben Rowe were able to follow suit under Kittleson a few laps later, but neither driver could mount a serious challenge for the win.

Adam Bates, Russ Hersey, Mike Lavoie (in a team car to Shaw), Travis Benjamin and Trevor Sanborn completed the top ten,all on the lead lap.
