Q. How did you get started into racing?
A. Sister first took me when I was five and I was best friends with Steve Nelson's son. When I was old enough to get in the pits I started hepling out on Steve's car. An everything else took off from there.
Q. What are your plans for the 2009 race season?
A. Hopefully run the full year at Unity along with some Bangor and Wiscasset races.
Q What is the key to getting around Unity Raceway?
A. A car that handels good thru the corners. Unity is not a big power track so getting thru the corners is the main thing.
Q. If you could change one thing to improve the racing at Unity Raceway, what would it be?
A. Nothing, you can pass any place on the track. You can't do that at many other tracks in the state.
Q. Whats your most memorable moment in your racing career?
A.Well since i don't have any wins yet it would have to be my first top 3 finish. I started back in like 30 an made my way thru to finish second. Got by track champ Skip Connors with two to go.
Q. Who is your strongest competition for 2009 Championship?
A. Well with the rule changes it should be some really good racing, so its hard to say. Donnie York, Kris Watson will be really tough.
Q. How has the economy affected your racing for 2009?
A. The sponsors that I got have helped me out forver an there still sticking with me for this year. Being only 20 mins from the track helps out alot. But hopefully race fuel goes down, that would help alot of racers out.
Q. What have you been doing in the off season?
A. Just hanging with my wife and kids, trying to stay warm. I also just started working at Charlie's Motor Mall in Augusta as a Auto Tech. I just started working on my race car this past weekend, starting to get the itch to go racing..
