Q. How did you get started in racing?
A.  My dad has been involved in racing since he was a kid which started my love for racing.  However, last year in July I believe I had stated to my dad after watching an Iron Man race, "I can do that!". And so next week I was on the track and in my first race.

Q. Has the increase in fuel price effected your racing?
A.Well actually the fuel price hasn't effected me cause my dad pays for any fuel needed and plus the Epping Shell Gas Station is one of my sponsors and they provide me with so much a week.

Q What is the key to getting around Lee Speedway?
A.You need to figure out the groove of the track and then figure out where you fit into that groove and go with it and be determined and thats where you will do your best.

Q. If you could change one thing to improve the racing at Lee Speedway, what would it be?
A. I am not a fan of driver's using mirrors to drive with.  I dont believe that you should be worried about whats going on behind you, but what lies ahead of you.  All that mirror does is able you to block the person behind you, which to me is a form of cheating.  If that person is faster then you, then let them by and if you were not so concerned about the person behind you and just keep pushing foward then that person behind you wouldnt be so close to you.

Q. Where do you see your racing career in 5yrs?
A. Well I would like to see me still racing, however the only way I am able to do this is because financially my dad supports my racing habit.  And last year he was diagnosed with ALS, and I am not sure when this will catch up with him. I would like to continue on and maybe eventually move up in classes too, but for now just hoping to race as long as I can.

Q. Whats your most memorable moment in your racing career?
A.  Every time I race is memorable, every win or spinout or last place finish.  There have been a few funny times, where mistakes have been made that I laugh at, like forgetting to fuel up the car and not knowing why on the track my car was not driving and forgetting to put the net in the car for the first race and realizing at the last minute, that "hey, ummm there is no net to use".

Q. With 2 wins already this season, the 2009 season looks promising.
A.  I would like to hope so.  My goal this year is to finish better then last year and proove that just because I am a girl I can still race with the boys.

Q.  What do you like to do when you are not racing?
A.  Well I have a 7 year old boy who consumes the rest of my time with all the sports he plays.  But I also like to BBQ, camp, go mudding, swimming and ride the snowmobile or 4wheeler.
