The NEMST will finally get its season started this Saturday at Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, NH. Originally planned to be the third race on the 2009 schedule Canaan will be the season opener with great weather and clear skies forecasted all weekend.
The Canaan weekly cars of Emerson Cayer and Chris McKinstry will be fighting against tour regulars Ricky Porter, Brad Dwinal, and Justin Trombley. The pit gates open at 3:00 P.M. and racing starts at 6:00 P.M. The racing should be fierce going for the VictoryLaneFOrum.com most laps led award and the Mainely Motorsports TV hard charger award, as well as the $400 winners purse.
All NEMST drivers and crews be sure to sign in at the NEMST pit window. Starting positions for the 10 lap heats will be done by draw and the 50 lap feature will be lined up by heat finishing order. We will have the Hoosier 790 tour tires available for sale at the track in both sizes as well as NEMST hats and t-shirts.
