Naples ME (June 12)   The Pro All Stars Series (PASS)  has three big days of racing on tap for this weekend with events in Maine, New Hampshire and Georgia four of the series five racing divisions will see action as the summer racing season gets underway in earnest.

First up are the PASS Mods with round two of the Twin State Series on tap at Lee USA Speedway. Andy Shaw won the opening round in a thriller over PASS South ace Jay Fogleman and young Sulo Burbank. Shaw leads the series back to Lee USA on Friday evening for another 40 lap shootout at the Route 125 oval.  The PASS Mod drivers will join in for Autograph Night at the speedway. Post time at Lee is 7:15 P.M.

Saturday night the PASS South super late model teams get back on track for race number six of their 2009 schedule, the Dixie 150 at Senoia Georgia’s’  New Senoia Speedway.  It’s the first time ever for the PASS super late models at the fast 3/8 mile.

 Ben Rowe has a 26 point lead in the South standings over Ryan “The Kid” Blaney and two wins under his belt. Preston Peltier is coming on strong in pursuit of the title; Peltier is tied with Rowe in the win column and has begun to narrow the point gap between him and the top two. Heath Hindman and Justin Wakefield both have a solid shot at the championship and any one of the five could land in victory lane Saturday night. Clay Jones, Mark Gibson, Jay Fogleman, Trey Mitchell and Bubba Pollard are but a few of the contenders that you can expect to see Saturday night at New Senoia when the PASS stars come out.
New Senoia will host a Friday June 19 practice session from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The back gate opens at 2:30 PM.  PASS super late model time trials roll off at 6:00 PM Saturday June 20, and racing gets under way at 7:30 PM.

One of the popular travel sites says that it is 1341 miles from Senoia Georgia to Unity Maine, but that’s where the PASS officiating team  will be come Sunday afternoon.  The NAPA 150 at Unity Raceway will feature 150 laps for the PASS North super late models, 75 for the PASS Sportsman and 40 laps for the PASS Mods. 

Ben Rowe has climbed atop the PASS North super late model standings after back to back wins at White Mountain Motorsports Park and New Brunswick's Speedway 660 by a slim margin. He holds a two point lead over Adam Bates (1074-1072) and three over Johnny Clark (1071). Derek Ramstrom (1052) and Chris Staples (1037) lurk in fourth and fifth, ready to strike.So for the first time in PASS history, one team leads both the North and South super late model standings.
