This weekend is the 2nd race for the 2009 NEMST and will be held at the beautiful ¼ mile White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, NH. The first race last weekend in Canaan was pretty intense with good racing battles all through the field. There are a lot more cars planning to make the shorter drive to WMMP and should put on a great show. It will really be a wonder to see what these cars can put down for times on the high banked oval.
The pit gates open at 1:00 PM and races start at 5:00 PM. The NEMST will again run 10 lap heat races picked by draw and a 50 lap feature. Tires will be available for sale this weekend as well. Some of the battles to watch this week will be to se if Ricky Porter can overcome last weeks penalty to fight for the points championship? Can Emerson Cayer make it 2 in a row? Or will it being local talent like Opie Thayer showing the way to the checkered flag.
