Naples ME 9/30/2009 – This weekend the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Mods and Sportsman will be battling it out at North Woodstock New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park and the title chase in both divisions are a long way from being decided.
The PASS Mods battle has tightened up considerably, with Scott Grant now on top of the standings. His margin is razor thin with Andy Shaw just eight points back (391-383). Bill Dixon sits in third and trails Grant by only ten with 381 markers. Steve Bennett Jr. and Scott McDaniel are waiting in the wings in fourth and fifth should the top three falter over the season’s final two events at White Mountain and Lee USA.
The PASS Sportsman race is even tighter. Carey Martin and Mike Landry are deadlocked at the top of the heap with 284 a piece and Dan Mckeage trails the pair by t three at 281. Any one of the three could wind up with the 2009 Champion’s trophy. Lyman Mckeage sits in fourth with 213 and just one point separates Mckeage from fifth place points man Shane Tatro. The PASS Sportsman will take on plenty of competition at The Route 3 oval as racers from throughout the region are expected to take on the series regulars.
