January event will kick off 2010 PASS National Championship Series
NAPLES ME (11/21/2009) There’s plenty of buzz in the super late model ranks surrounding the Pro All Stars Series’ (PASS) first visit to Florida’s legendary New Smyrna Speedway on January 29th and 30th 2010 for the 150 lap PASS Florida Winter Fest, and race teams can now print off both their entry blanks and the event schedule at www.racewithpass.com .
You can’t beat a short track Saturday night in January at one of America’s best known short tracks and the PASS Florida Winter Fest promises to be a show down for racers from every corner of the United States, especially those that are looking to get out of their winter weather with an itch to go racing. You can expect the home team of Florida super late model stars to have an edge, but there will be a full field of potential winners taking the green.
Winter Fest won’t award PASS South points, but the fact that the 2010 PASS National Championship will kick off on the super quick New Smyrna high banks adds yet another dimension to the Pro All Stars’ first trip to the sunshine state. Mainers Cassius Clark and Ben Rowe have each claimed a PASS National title but .New Smyrna Speedway has to be considered neutral ground for both PASS North and South competitors. You can be sure that any team who wants a shot at the title will be on hand.
Early entry deadline for the PASS Florida Winter Fest is December 15th . Filing early results in a substantial savings and guarantees race teams and their sponsors the pre-race publicity they deserve.
