HUDSON, N.H. — Joey Polewarczyk Jr. is reuniting with the team that earned him his best career NASCAR K&N Pro Series East finish.

Polewarczyk will drive the No. 1 Pole’s Automotive Chevrolet for owner Dave Davis in the Heluva Good! Spring 125 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday, June 25. Practice and qualifying for the event takes place the day before.

“If there’s one place to run in that series, it is New Hampshire,” said Polewarczyk, who has six career K&N Pro Series starts in his career, including two at New Hampshire. “There’s so much exposure there. Of all the races that series runs, this was the one we were going to do. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Polewarczyk previously teamed with Davis in September 2008, posting a sixth-place finish on the 1.058-mile, Loudon, N.H., oval for his first and only career top-10 finish in the series. The race is part of the four-day Lenox Industrial Tools 301 weekend at the track, featuring the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

“It’s definitely exciting to team with Dave again,” Polewarczyk said. “We’ve always liked Dave a lot, and it will be great to go back to Loudon with him.”

Polewarczyk plans to use his own ACT Late Model Tour crew to work on the car at New Hampshire as the third Davis entry. Davis also will have cars entered in the event for Kevin Swindell and Josh Richards.

Polewarczyk made his series debut at Thompson (Conn.) International Speedway in 2008, and he opened the 2010 campaign by competing in the first two events of the year for Fadden Racing.

Currently, Polewarczyk is sixth in the ACT Late Model Tour standings through three events. He competes full-time in that series and owns four career ACT wins.
