All-American Series will unfold at the Lee USA Speedway. It includes the
biggest event of the 2010 season for the Small Block Supermodifieds.
They will compete in the “Small Block Super Summer Shootout”, with
additional laps and more cash paid to the race winner. This special event is
sponsored by P B Chopper Shop & Rod.
The SBS division has turned out to be very competitive at Lee in 2010. In
their most recent event, Dave Sanborn made a last lap pass to become the
first driver other than Justin Belfiore to win two races in a row. Sanborn
now holds a slim points edge on Tom Tombarello and Billy Osborne as a
result.
Despite being an open-wheeled racing division, the Small Block
Supermodifieds have run off a number of races with no more than one caution
period. This includes a caution-free event in June that brought their
largest car count of the season to date.
Also on the card Friday night will be the NASCAR Late Models. Bryan Kruczek
and point leader Wayne Helliwell Jr., have the most wins in 2010, but
drivers such as J.R. Baril, Miles Chipman and Tom Fuller are among those who
appear to be on the verge of a visit to victory lane.
The Hobby Stocks, Late Model Sportsman, Road Runner and Ironman divisions
will also be back in action of Friday night.
Admission will be held at just $10 for adults on Friday, with kids 12 and
under admitted free of charge, making this the best family bargain in
NASCAR. For more information log onto our website at:
