This Saturday will mark the second and final trip for the North East Mini Stock Tour to venture into Woodstock, NH at the lightning fast quarter mile White Mountain Motorsports Park. Rookie Chris McKInstry is heading in with the series point lead but long time competitor and 2009 NEMST Champion Emerson Cayer is hot on his shoes. McKinstry is 3 of 4 in NEMST races this year with his only loss coming at White Mountain on July 3rd.

As the points race is heating up so is NEMST interest among other drivers. This weekends race will be the first start for multiple drivers on the NEMST. The early summer winner Justin Trombley who finished second in overall points last year will not be making the 5 hour trek to White Mountain. Tour new comer Adam Polvinen has recovered from a hard wreck while leading at Wiscasset on August 8th and is heading into New Hampshire for his first time on the high banked track.

NEMST veteran Emerson Cayer who won 3 races in the 2009 season is still winless this year but hopes to change that this weekend. Cayer who has 3 top 3’s this year has been leading multiple times but unable to hold off the hard charging McKInstry.

The NEMST will have their own pit window to sign in on at White Mountain, gates will open at 2 PM with racing starting at 6 PM. All drivers and crews please sign in to the designated window to ease confusion. The tour will run two 10 lap qualifying heats and a 50 lap feature event. Tires, fuel, and apparel will all be on hand and for sale if needed.
