LEE, NH- It has been an exciting race season at New Hampshire’s Center of
Speed, the Lee USA Speedway, but the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series
season comes to a close this Friday night, September 17th, with Oktoberfest
weekend on October 22nd -24th still to come.

Friday will be the final points night, with a season-long battle for the
Small Block Supermodified Track Championship on the line. Thomas Tombarello
Jr., and Billy Osborne are so close in the standings, it is likely that
whoever crosses the finish line first in their 25-lap feature event will
with the title. If they should both falter, Mike Netishen still has not been
mathematically eliminated from pulling the upset.

Also on the schedule Friday evening will be the STAR Antique Racers, and the
Classic Lites Series. In the interest of time, some of the divisions will be
running a features only format.

This event is a rain date makeup of “Back to School Night”, which brings
with it the chance for kids to get a ride around the track in race cars.
There will also be giveaways, such as backpacks to help kids prepare for the
long winter ahead.
Kids, like it is for every Friday night race, will be admitted free of
charge, with adult admission priced at just $10 this Friday night.

This Friday night is your last chance to see the cars and stars of the
weekly car wars at the Lee USA Speedway. Then, following this event the
track will remain silent in preparation for a New Hampshire fall party
finale like no other.

Oktoberfest weekend is sure to please any race fan, with a battle for the
Modified Racing Series Title to be decided, a return of the Pro Stocks for
one final run around the three-eighths mile oval for the 2010 season, and
much much more.
