Claremont, NH – Officials of the newly formed Granite State Pro-Stock Series
have announced they’ll stage a 100-lap race Friday night, August 19, at Twin-State Speedway, Claremont, NH. The event will be part of a special 5-in-1 Friday night race card at the historic speedway.
The program will also feature a 50 lap Super-Street Open, Strictly Stocks, The Allison Legacy Series, and a 4-Cylinder Enduro.
Series officials have been in contact with several speedway operators discussing potential dates with additional races to be announced.
“If the interest is an indicator, we should be in good shape, said series co-founder Mike Parks.” He furthered, “Calls have been received from all over New England, many from long-time pro-stock competitors. We hope to be announcing more events in the near future.” Series officials have stated it is their intent to have a four to six race schedule this season.
The Twin-State race will pay $1200 to win with $250 for last place for a 20-24-car field.
A meeting for all interested race teams is being planned in early March with a date and location to be announced.
