Canaan, NH — As he did back in 2003 when he threw his support at the new Modified Racing Series, Monadnock Speedway promotor Larry Cirillo has agreed to two race dates for the new Granite State Pro-Stock Series.

Series director John Hoyt has announced a meeting was held this past week opening the door for a visit to the Winchester, NH., speedway for two dates and possibly a third.

“We are grateful to Larry Cirillo and his staff for giving us the opportunity. When Jack (Bateman) started the Valenti Modified Racing Series the first person he spoke too was Larry. He was there when that series needed a jump start and frankly it’s been said time and time again, the series would not be where it is today if it were not for Larry and Monadnock Speedway. We are extremely thankful for the same opportunity.”

The dates, to be determined, add to the Aug 19th 100-lap race at Twin State Speedway, Claremont, NH. Close to 20 race teams have already registered.

Negotiations continue with other race operations in an attempt to reach the intended 4-6 race dates the GSPRS officials have targeted for the first year.
