Richie Dearborn finished the 2010 season with a win at White
Mountain Motorsports Park. Now the 2011 PASS race season is almost
here with the 1st race at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway on April 30th.
Richie looks to start the new season right where he left off last
season…. in victory lane.
RPM: What have you been doing in the off season?
Richie: I have spent a lot of time working on our cars to get them
ready for the 2011 season and spending as much time as possible with
my family.
RPM: What are your plans for the 2011 race Season?
Richie: I am going to see how we start out the season and go from there.
RPM: Are you all set for the PASS season opener at Beech Ridge?
Richie: Yes, we are pretty much ready to go we just have a few minor
things to do.
RPM: What do you think of the 2011 PASS Schedule?
Richie: I think this schedule looks really good. All the races are
close by and very easy travel for us, but we would go with whatever
works for PASS. They are the ones making it possible for us to race.
RPM: Will you be running the full schedule?
Richie: I really am not sure about the full schedule yet because it
depends on how the first few races go.
RPM: What’s your favorite track to race at?
Richie: White Mountain is my favorite track. It just seems to fit my
driving style.
RPM: Will you be running any other races this season?
Richie: Right now I am not planning on it. My daughter is growing up
so quickly that I just want to spend as much time as possible with
her. She will be 5 on our season opener.
RPM: If you could do one thing to improve the safety of the drivers
what would it be?
Richie: PASS does a really great job with driver safety so I can not
think of anything to improve on for us. I do get concerned at some of
the tracks for all of the crews on pit road.
