(Press Release) – April 8, 2011 – Travis Dunbar heads into familiar territory in two weeks as he and his #45 DT Promotions squad embarks on round 1 of the 2011 open practices for the Coors Six Pack Series at Canaan Fair Speedway.
The DT Promotions team feels like it has unfinished business in the pro stock division and at the Canaan Fair Speedway despite a good history at Canaan Fair Speedway. All the hard work in the offseason to continue pushing the development of their fleet of pro stocks has Dunbar excited to be going back to his home track. The Coors Six Pack Series has three races at the Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, NH starting on May 28th.
“My team and I very much enjoy Canaan, I do a lot of my racing there, and we have always qualified and run strong there,” said Travis Dunbar. “We finished 4th there in 2008, and finished in the top ten there in two of the pro stock races there last year, so I know we will be strong after all the work we’ve put towards the cars this season. Travis and the DT Promotions team has done a great job for Kenneth and I, so we’re looking to repay all their efforts this season with a great result.” The team would also like to welcome any and all potential new advertisers to come on board and support their efforts.
This season DT Promotions is supported by Generations Family Medicine, Tri-County Mental Health Services, The Autism Society of Maine, Dan Allard Photography, The GridIron Restaurant and Sports Pub, and Schemengees Restaurant and Billiards as they campaign two pro stock cars out of their Richmond, Maine race shop to take on a very strong challenge in the Coors Six Pack Series as well as the PASS Super Late Model North Series in 2011. The team and advertisers are looking forward to a strong 2011 racing season.
