This weekend we went back to star. We were not sure if the rain would hold out or not, but it did. The first practice there was a problem. We had to change the fuel pump, and some other stuff.
To start the second practice Richie went out and then came in for an adjustment, when he went to fire the car it wouldn’t start. To make a long story short, Richie didn’t get much practice.
Richie started pole in the second heat and won it. This put Richie starting the feature on the outside pole. Holy Moly what a rough race! Richie took the lead from the drop of the green flag and stayed there until about 20 to go.
With 6 laps to go Richie retook the lead on a restart. With two laps to go Richie got a flat tire and spun out. We changed the tire under caution, but ran out of laps.
