The Benjamin Motorsports race team was back in action this past weekend at Speedway 660. After Qualifying on the pole the team was excited to get the 200 lap main event underway. At the start of the feature the 17 car was out in front and then ran in third until lap 50 when the bad luck returned and a flat tire sent the team to the pits to change a right front tire.
The team did a great job and only losing one lap. After the next caution the team was awarded the lucky dog for being the first car one lap down. At the halfway point of the race the team was back up to 7th. But the car just really wasn’t the same after having the flat tire and couldn’t challenge for the victory so the Benjamin Motorsports team would have to settle for 5th.
