BRIAN, TALK ABOUT YOUR NIGHT.

It was a good night. We just didn’t tweak the car the right way for victory. We’re a little disappointed in that, but overall it was a good weekend. The car’s got a couple of scratches on it, but otherwise it’s good to go and it was a good points night.

In the big picture it was good, but it’s a little disappointing. I really felt like we had a car capable of winning and I didn’t let (crew chief Rick Paya) do what he wanted to do. So I kind of take it on these not-very-wide shoulders. We’ll take it.

YOU HAD TO RACE EXTREMELY HARD EARLY IN THE RACE. DID THAT HURT YOU AT THE END?

You know, we had arguably the fastest four or five cars starting in the Top-5 – so the pace got set really fast, really early, way faster then I would have liked. But (race winner John Donahue) had a stout car. It just seemed to stay there all night. At the end there he was just Steady Eddie.

He was doing a good job. He was saving his stuff as much as he could under the circumstances, but I had nothing for him. I mean the car wasn’t what we needed.
