WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

BRIAN HOAR, Driver of the No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge, On racing at White Mountain Motorsports Park: “It’s probably one of prettiest settings in New England racing. It’s a great little track, and it promotes really good racing. I enjoy going there, I really do, and we’ve run good there in the past. (Crew chief Rick Paya) has a really good feel for place with the setup.

“It’s one of those little short tracks where anything can happen. And it’s certainly also a place where you can come from back and win the thing. I’m looking forward to it.”

On how White Mountain suits Late Model cars: “It definitely does. I never ran there in anything other than an ACT car. They can really run side-by-side in feature as groove starts to widen out. I think that’s probably by design when they built the place, so that’s pretty cool.”

On gearing up toward the summer stretch of races: “Doing the points thing, you’ve just got to keep running well and getting good finishes. You just want to try to stay consistent and put yourself in contention for top finishes every week. If you can do that, the potential for wins comes.

“Obviously, we’re going in the right direction so far.”
