Driver Q and A
Joey, the last time you visited Oxford in an ACT Race, you failed to qualify. What are you doing this year to ensure you do not have a repeat performance?
Well, we started out 2010 with a new Engine from Ford and it took some time to get the car to where we wanted it to be. I love Oxford and our record up here, reflects that. We came back to Oxford last July for the TD Bank 250 and we were running fourth when we cut a tire. I think, it is an understatement to say we are excited to return.
You currently sit 91 points out of the top spot in the ACT Championship point standings and you are coming off a 19th place finish in the last ACT Race (Spring Green 111 at Devils Bowl Speedway) what are your thoughts, heading into Oxford Plains.
I think we are fortunate to be where we are in the standings, considering our finish at the season opening race at Lee Speedway and our latest finish at Devils Bowl. I really feel that we will come out of Oxford, even closer to the top spot. We really love racing there; it is fast and there are multiple grooves.
