OPS Oxford Plains SpeedwayOXFORD, Maine – Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, finished third in the 38th annual TD Bank Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine, on Sunday, July 24. Theriault, 17 and entering his senior year at Fort Kent High School, started 11th in the 38-car field after qualifying for the first time for the marquee midsummer event. He used pit strategy to work his way into the Top-5 by Lap 187, and he was sitting third on a late restart with 16 laps remaining – first challenging Nick Sweet for second-place and then holding off a hard-charging two-time champion of the event, Eddie MacDonald, to post the podium finish.
