(Oxford, ME) – ACT- Late Model Standout, #97NH Joey Polewarczyk from Hudson, NH is excited about visiting Oxford Plains Speedway this upcoming Saturday, August 20. Joey is poised to jump start his race team and set themselves up for the long stretch of high-money races to end the year.

“At Oxford, our finishes have been hit and miss lately. In 2008 and 2009 we were great up there, 2010 saw us not qualify for the spring race, which was somewhat weird. Joey said, “We have our Beech Ridge Speedway set-up underneath the car for this weekend. I know we would have come away with a win or close to it at Beech Ridge, if we didn’t have that mechanical issue.”

Last Weekend, the Polewarczyk Race Team came away from New Hampshire Motor Speedway with an overall finish of 12th. “I am happy with the finish, I mean I know we are a championship caliber team but with the way the car was handling, we’ll take 12th.

Joey currently is sitting in eighth place in the ACT Points Standings, only 29 points out of fifth place. Joey talked about his current standings in the points, “I am having a tough time with our position, I mean we should be up contending for the Championship. We need to string together some quality finishes as we end the year”

After this upcoming race at Oxford Plains Speedway, the #97NH Pole’s Automotive/NH Precision Ford Fusion and Crew will be heading North of the Border to Circuit Riverside Speedway in St-Croix, Quebec for one of the longest races on the Tour, 200-Laps on the fast 5/8th Mile track.
