Plattsburgh, NY- Joey Polewarczyk Jr, driver of the #97 Poles Automotive, NH Precision Ford Fusion ended the 2011 ACT Points schedule, the same way he did in 2010; with a victory.

2011 was a different scenario because the setting was Airborne Park Speedway, a very fast half-mile progressive banked oval, not the Waterford Speedbowl; as was the case in 2010.

Joey said he unloaded off the trailer very fast. “We were happy right from the start”, Joey would say. “I was really happy with the way the car handled the track, I have had good finishes here but to come away with a win, that’s huge for our team. This is definitely something to build off for the 2012 season.”

Polewarczyk finished the 2011 season in a tie with Randy Potter for fifth in points. Joey talked about his final points standing, “I thought we would be fighting Brian (Hoar) for a Championship, not finishing fifth. I mean this is a very competitive series and this off-season we may just really focus on tearing our car down and going though everything to make sure 2012 starts off right.”

Joey talks about what getting off to a good start means in 2012, “Winning at Lee, sets the stage for a successful campaign. This racing is some of the best there is in the United States.”

The 2011 Fall Foliage 200 was Polewarczyk’s eighth Career ACT Victory, which moves him into fifth-place in the career wins category.
