JD Frey will make is debut in the PASS South Series March 10.
Frey, who has limited starts in Late Model type cars is excited about his opportunity. “I can’t thank Dave and Steve enough for their help and support,” Frey offered. “The opportunity to race with the PASS series is going to be incredible and hopefully we will perform well so we can add some more races to the schedule.”

The PASS South Series enters its seventh year of operation competing at many of the regions historic short track ovals like South Boston (VA), Hickory (NC), and Nashville (TN). This season the series will stage 16-races beginning with a 150-lap race at Dillon (SC) Motor Speedway Saturday, March 10.

“We tested at Dillon last week and learned a lot,” Frey said. “We had old race tires and got to within a tenth of the top guys so we felt really good about are chances. These races are tough to make because there are so many cars. But we know if we have a good qualifying effort then we will be able to have a great finish.”

Providing technical expertise and acting as crew chief will be Steve Graham, who also relocated to North Carolina from California six years ago. “I am really pleased how quickly JD has adapted to these Late Model type cars,” offered Graham. “Our car has a crate engine running up against some of the built motors but I think it is an advantage especially for someone with limited experience.”
