Event to Benefit the Autism Society of Maine

Portland Pirates, in cooperation with the Autism Society of Maine, are announcing the Autism Awareness night with Travis Dunbar

Portland, ME — (J.T. Promotions)–Travis Dunbar and the Autism Society of Maine are happy to announce that the Portland Pirates will be hosting Autism Awareness Night in support of the Autism Society of Maine on April 11. The event features $2.00 from every game ticket sold being given to the Autism Society of Maine, and aims to raise awareness and funds for the Autism Society of Maine located in Winthrop, ME.

In addition to the hockey game, Travis Dunbar and the J.T. Promotions race team have partnered with the Portland Pirates and the Autism Society of Maine. The Portland Pirates team will be wearing uniforms with the “mystery” autism puzzle pieces on them. J.T. Promotions will also be unveiling the new #45 Late Model Stock car which will feature the “mystery” autism puzzle pieces on it.

Travis Dunbar opened Dunbar Racing in 2006. Initially a Super Mini Cup team, he expanded to include a two car team in 2008 with Brad Tripp. Since that time, J.T. Travis Dunbar graduated from Colby-Sawyer College with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Secondary Education. He currently works at Poland Community School in Poland, ME.
