Altamonte Springs, FL/June 4, 2012 – P1 Groupe driver Owen Trinkler and RSR Motorsports has been on a serious roll as of late which included a three-peat win at New Jersey Motorsports Park in May. Now the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series heads to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the fifth event on their schedule. The EMCO Gears Classic will be another opportunity for Trinkler and his team to improve in the championship standings where Trinkler sits only 27 points out of 1st and RSR Motorsports sits only 27 points out of 1st as well in the Team Championship. Trinkler will give it all he has to give he and his #197 team back-to-back victories for the first time in their history.

Heading into the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Trinkler currently sits 4th in the Street Tuner Driver Points Championship Standings while RSR Motorsports currently sits 3rd in the Street Tuner Team Points Championship Standings. The GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series EMCO Gears Classic from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course begins on Saturday, June 9th The race will be two and a half hours in length, and will be aired on SPEED Channel on Sunday June 17th at 12 PM ET.
