Championship Banquet and Rules Meeting Nov. 17
The Texas Roadhouse North East Mini Stock season has been eventful to say the least throughout the first seven events in 2012. The top six drivers are separated by a mere 76 points and numerous competitors are signing on to finish out the season with the ever growing NEMST.
As the temperatures cool off and competition levels rise it becomes time to plan the year end festivities. This season the NEMST will offer a Championship Banquet catered by series title sponsor Texas Roadhouse that will showcase and award the drivers finishing in the top ten points positions over the year. For the first time the year-end banquet will be held in a central location to try and increase attendance while making it easier for all drivers to attend. The banquet will be held at the Days Inn Convention Center in Methuen, MA located conveniently near both I-93 and I-495 in northern Massachusetts.
November 17th is the date set forth by the NEMST for the championship ceremonies. Everything will kick off at 6 P.M. with social time until 6:45 when Texas Roadhouse will serve their legendary meals for all attendees. After dinner the awards ceremony will begin and feature presentations of the top 10 in points. Tickets are available by calling Bob at 207-577-2681 or getting them at any of the remaining events of the 2012 season. Ticket price will remain the same as previous years at $25 per ticket. Ticket includes your meal but does not include beverages. A bartender will be available at the banquet.
For the safety of all attendees the NEMST has worked out a special room rate for everyone attending the banquet at the Days Inn. As in previous years the NEMST will also hold the 2013 rules meeting as part of the banquet. The rules meeting will take place after the awards are handed out and tour officials will go over the entire rule book and talk about any proposed changes brought forth by drivers or officials.
