DJ1Center Conway, NH – The Pro All Stars Series North season opener is this weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway. After what seemed to be a never ending offseason for some, DJ Shaw and the Precision JLM Racing team have been hard at work on and off the track. After a couple of top ten finishes in the PASS National series, including a runner up finish in the Easter Bunny 150 two weeks ago, the crew is more prepared than ever for a good start to the season at Oxford Plains Speedway.

While Shaw hasn’t raced in a few weeks, he and his father, Dale Shaw, built and crewed on the car that Jimmy Hebert drove to the win in the Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway this past weekend, getting the sophomore driver his first win in the American Canadian Tour, all behind the wheel of a brand new Dale Shaw Racecar.

Now, Shaw is hoping for the same success this weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway, not only to get the PASS North season started on a good note, but also to ensure they have a strong car when the Tour is back at Oxford Plains on July 21st for the TD Bank 250, one of the biggest short track races in the country. Shaw ran runner up in the last race at Oxford Plains in the season finale last October, showing a lot of speed and is hoping that his new car with the new Mustang body can help improve on that result. The car the team have named “Eleanor” made its debut at Hickory Motor Speedway two weeks ago, and was fast from the drop of the green flag to its eventual runner up finish.
The PASS North season opening “Ripley and Fletcher Ford 150” is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 21st. The afternoon will consist of racing from the PASS North Super Late Models, Sportsman and Modifieds, including a national qualifier race for the Amsoil Nelcar Legends Tour to kick things off.

Adult tickets are $20 with kids 12 and under only $5! Come out to the speedway this weekend to enjoy a great afternoon of racing and support the Precision JLM team and DJ Shaw.
