Wiscasset2013logoA spring Nor’Easter hit the region on May twenty-fifth and Wiscasset Speedway was forced to call off the scheduled Saturday races. Ken Minott, track promoter said, “Back on Mothers Day weekend we waited til the last minute to cancel. We really thought we had a window of opportunity for the races to carry on. This time it was an easy call because we could see there was no chance of getting it in.”

Wiscasset Speedway resumes racing action next weekend with its group one rotation of divisions, including: Prostock, Super Stock, Thunder 4’s, and 4-Cylinder Prostocks.
Additionally on the schedule are two make up races from Mother’s Day Weekend: Mini Trucks and Outlaw Mini’s.

The flex races of the week are Ladies races. There will be two divisions for the ladies. A beginner division for Thunder 4 and 4-Cylinder Enduro style cars, and an advanced division including Outlaw Mini and Strictly Street style cars. Come on out ladies and race!
