Durham, Maine – Beech Ridge Speedway Super Late Model rookie Even Beaulieu is making steady progress in the team car to veteran Dan McKeage.
Friday night, after two earlier-week rainouts, Evan ran in the top five for much of the 50-lap Miller Lite American Celebration race before a late race incident relegated him to a tenth place finish. Beaulieu started out the night from the second spot, and ran near the front for much of the race. The development progress continues for Beaulieu after just his sixth race in a full fender car.
“It felt good to be up front for a while tonight for sure,” Evan said after the race. “We started third and finished third in the heat race so we had some confidence going into the feature. We were in the top five until we had that little dustup there with the 24 near the end. I don’t know how I managed to save the car but I’m sure glad we did. All things considered, tonight was a great night. Thanks to my crew and my sponsors for all their help! I’m definitely getting more comfortable in the car and I’m excited about what the future holds.”
This Saturday, Evan will again be in action with the Super Late Model at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. Racing will start at 6:30 and tickets are just $10. On Thursday, Evan will return in the Legends Car where he sits third in points in the VIP Thursday Thunder Series, the popular autograph hour will follow after the conclusion of all races on Thursday night. Races start at 7PM and finish before 9PM, tickets are just $4.
