1000-DSC_0002North Woodstock, NH – DJ Shaw and the #60 Precision JLM team traveled to northern New Hampshire for an eventful day at White Mountain Motorsports Park this past weekend.  Two 150 lap races were on tap for the Pro All Stars Series North after rain postponed the last event after the completion of the heat races.  Shaw had a great day at his home track, fighting hard and coming home with a fifth place finish in the first race and a runner up finish in the second event.

“We had a pretty solid day and gained a lot of points on second and third,” Shaw said after the races, “With Joey (Doiron) winning both races we didn’t gain any on him, but it was great to see a Dale Shaw car in Victory Lane in both races and David Oliver had a strong run too so it’s still a good day for the company.”

In the first event, Shaw rolled off from the ninth position.  He quickly worked his way into the top five and continued to drive up to the second spot.  The car would tighten up on Shaw however, and leave him battling hard to hang on to a top five finish.  At the finish, Shaw was able to get through a scuffle amongst the leaders, and finish the race in the fifth position.

After coming from the rear to finish sixth in his heat race, Shaw would start 13th for the second 150 lap feature.  Shaw once again took advantage of a great handling car to make his way to third place while most of the races early stages were filled with long runs under the green flag.  He was working on running down leader Doiron before the caution flag came out late in the race, giving Shaw a chance for the win.  Battling hard with Doiron, Shaw had to settle for the second spot at the checkered flag.  Two top five finishes in one day; it was a great day at White Mountain for the Precision JLM team.

The next event for DJ Shaw will be this weekend on Saturday, September 7th at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee Jonction, Quebec, Canada.  It is the final leg of the Autobus Quebecois Triple Crown Series, where Shaw sits third in the point’s standings and just seven points out of the lead.  Racing is set to start at 5:30PM on Saturday night, come to the track to support the Precision JLM team and DJ Shaw!
