Granite State Pro Stock Series President Mike Parks and White Mountain Motorsports Park owners Donnie and Teri Avery have jointly announced the Granite State Pro Stock Series will make its debut at the North Woodstock, NH track on September 20th during the 2014 season. Parks is excited for the series to visit the high banked, quarter-mile speed plant. “The track is very similar to what 85% of our teams are used to, so our teams will adapt to very quickly,” states Parks. “WMMP is one of New England’s premier racing facilities, and we are proud to be a part of their schedule”.
The entire GSPSS schedule will be released at the 2013 Banquet of Champions. The banquet will honor racer’s accomplishments from the previous season, including Mike O’Sullivan’s championship run. The 2013 banquet is being held on December 27th at the Best Western Plus Executive Court Inn and Conference Center in Manchester, NH.
There will be an organizational meeting for anyone interested in racing Go-Karts, and Mini-Cup cars at OPS in 2014. The meetings will be held on Monday night, December 28th at the American Legion Post in Oxford, Maine. The Go-Kart meeting will be held at 6pm, with the Min-Cups starting at 7:30pm.
2014 rules for the new six cylinder Cruiser division have been posted. The Cruisers have been added to the Wednesday Oxford Acceleration Series card. This revised entry level division seems to be drawing quite a bit of interest. Cars and drivers registration is now going on for this class. Numbers are reserved on a first come, first serve basis, and no numbers may be reserved without filing the necessary paperwork.
