Oxford Plains Speedway President Tom Mayberry is pleased to announce that O’Reilly’s Auto Parts has become a new marketing partner at the Speedway and will be the title sponsor of the 2014 O’Reilly Auto Parts, Monster Truck Throwdown. The event will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday, August 16th and 17th.
“Having a very strong company like O’Reilly Auto Parts joining up with Oxford is very exciting for both parties, explained Mayberry. They have some great marketing ideas, and we are really looking forward to working with them. The O’Reilly Auto Parts Monster Truck Throwdown is one of the biggest events in the State of Maine and with their support it will become even bigger! Last year’s inaugural event saw huge crowds both days and it was an incredible show, and with the show we have planned for 2014 it is going to be even more exciting!”
O’Reilly Auto Parts Monster Truck Throwdown will feature eight of the biggest names in monster truck racing from across the country. The show will consist of monster truck racing and freestyle competitions both days. New for 2014, the first time ever in Maine, see a ten-thousand pound monster truck attempt a complete three hundred and sixty degree back flip!
O’Reilly Auto Parts officially started in the auto parts business in 1957 and currently has over 4,000 stores and twenty-four distribution centers in forty-two states, thus ranking them in the top two auto parts distributors in the United
States. They have several key locations throughout the New England region.
