TOP 10 AT STAR SPEEDWAY FOR THE BENJAMIN MOTORSPORTS TEAM
The Benjamin Motorsports team was back in action again last weekend at Star Speedway in Epping New Hampshire. Star Speedway is a very tight quarter mile race track that the drivers really have to get up on the wheel and do some driving and the track puts on a great show for the fans. There was 32 very competitive super late models in the pit area and after practice the Benjamin Motorsports team was in the top 10 in speed.
After qualifying 17th for the feature the team had a lot of work to do to get to the front. At the half way point in the 150 lap feature Travis was just getting inside the top 10. With 50 to go the 17 car was inside the top 5 looking to make its way into the top 3. There was a restart with 20 laps to go in the feature and its very hard to pass on the outside and Travis would drop back and settle for an 8th place finish. “the car was really good but the results don’t really show how good a car we had tonight. The team has been working hard and we are getting better each week and that’s all we can ask for”. Travis said
The team will have another busy weekend with Travis racing in Quebec on Saturday and on Sunday Kaiden will be back behind the wheel to race his go kart in Richmond Maine.
