Jake Matheson, of Hillsboro, NH., will be back in the #52 Bandolero Car racing in the ProWraps Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS).

The driver of the #52 car has been keeping busy in the off season, doing what he loves most. “I have been doing a lot of IRacing and driving at Maine Indoor Karting during the off season.”

Jake has already been turning some laps down south this season. “We already ran the US Legends Winter Nationals in Orlando and came in 3rd overall!”

The 2016 ProWraps Series race season is almost here as the race teams work on their cars in the shop, “My plan for the 2016 season is to win the NHMS Bandolero Championship and we are definitely ready to race!”

Racing the mini oval at NHMS, Jake has gotten a number of podium finishes, “The NHMS oval is a very challenging track. Turn one entry is the key to a good lap.”

During the US Legends World Road Course Finals held at NHMS last season, the bandolero cars ran an expedition race on the 1.6 mile road course. “It was great meeting drivers from all over the world at the Road Course World Finals.”

So what if NHMS added a few road course races to the schedule, this season, “It was my first time ever on road course and I finished in 2nd place. Adding a few road course races would be great for me to sharpen my road course skills!”

Jake would like to tell all his fans about the upcoming race season. “I would like to thank all my fans for the support they have given and can’t wait to see them at the track this year.”
