(Halifax, NS, May 29, 2019) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour will make its first visit of the season to Scotia Speedworld this Saturday for the Cummins 150.  The Cummins 150 will mark round two of 12 for the elite stock car racing series that will visit four Maritime markets throughout the season. Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races for the Cummins 150 get underway at 4:00 PM with grandstands gates opening at 1:00 PM.

Reigning Parts for Trucks Champion Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS) took the first victory of the 2019 season last weekend at Petty International Raceway and heads into his home track with the early point lead. Ashton Tucker (Miramichi, NB) made his mark in his first feature debut on Series finishing second. The podium finish places the Rookie just behind Butcher in points. Allison MacKinnon (Oyster Bed Bridge, PE), Donald Chisholm (Antigonish, NS), and John Flemming (Halifax, NS) will also be making their 2019 debuts at the Cummins 150 on Saturday.

Joe Chisholm and the gang from Race Time Radio will back on the road with the Tour for nine events, beginning with Saturday’s Cummins 150. Race broadcasts will be available for listeners absolutely free, no subscription necessary, via www.racetimeradio.com by clicking the “Listen Live” link.

The Maritime League of Legends will kick off their 2019 campaign with a 50 lap feature prior to the Pro Stock feature.

The CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series will take centre stage Friday evening with AMP Energy Night. Four divisions will be in action – Toursec Lightning cars, Strictly Hydraulics Legends, Sportsman and the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros. $20 Carload night was rained out last Friday but the special admission price will be held over this Friday only.  Dave Matthews driver of the #99 Toursec Thunder car will join Tim Terry as Co-Host.
